Munson Angus Farms planted a pumpkin patch and they are growing! We would like to invite your classroom or other youth group to come out and enjoy time in the country as well as to pick your fall pumpkin. This year we should have thousands of pumpkins. Here is how it will work. Dan and Duke or Ben and George, our Percheron horse teams, which many of you have seen in parades and other community events, will pull our trolley which can seat up to 25 adults out to the pumpkin path to pick your pumpkin. Each child may select one pumpkin. Dan and Duke or Ben and George will return you to their horse barn, which includes a county health inspected kitchen, at which time we will provide a treat such as a bonfire where you can roast a marshmallow and enjoy some lemonade or hot chocolate.
To help pay for Dan, Duke, Ben and Georges’ shoeing fund, our treat expenses, etc. we are asking the each school/youth group provide a donation. We suggest $3.00 for each child or adult participating. The times that we will be holding these events are as follows:
Monday - Friday the month of October.
Call 238-8068 to schedule your group.
